Billing Coordinator

You Will:

  • Manage and update billing rates, close timesheets, and generate various financial reports (including non-billable, project detail, and burn reports).
  • Prepare, review, and send invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather backup documentation and fulfill ad hoc requests.
  • Regularly manipulate and analyze data in Excel, aligning reporting to unique client fiscal calendars.
  • Support your teammates and collaborate to solve problems and meet deadlines.
  • Gain exposure to finance systems such as Dynamics 365 and others
  • Perform general office duties including maintain the AP mailbox, photocopying of bills, invoices, and other supporting backup documentation.
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required.

 

You Have:

  • A basic foundation in finance—either through education or previous internship/entry-level experience.
  • Proficiency with Excel and excited to develop your skills to the next level (intermediate skills a big plus!).
  • A passion for working with numbers and have a keen eye for detail.
  • A team-oriented mindset to work in collaborative environment and are eager to contribute your best.
  • You have a desire for stability and the opportunity to grow over the next 2–3 years.
  • Enthusiasm about coming into the Chicago office at least three days a week – you enjoy connecting with your colleagues face-to-face!

 

Bonus if You Have:

  • Experience with financial systems like Dynamics 365.
  • Exposure to billing, accounting, or related financial processes.
