As a Senior Designer at Critical Mass, you bring a sharp storytelling instinct, exceptional editorial craft, and a passion for creating content that captures attention and drives engagement. You thrive at the intersection of motion, design, and technology, transforming raw footage and creative concepts into compelling video experiences for some of the world's most recognized brands. Beyond editing, you bring strong graphic design capabilities that enhance visual storytelling across campaigns and digital channels.You Will:
Concept, edit and deliver high-quality video content across brand, campaign, social, and digital experiences — from early exploration to final delivery
Craft compelling motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that drive engagement and tell stories
Create and integrate animated graphic elements, title treatments, animations, and branded assets to elevate storytelling
Develop static graphics and branded assets to maintain visual cohesion across touchpoints
Translate creative briefs and strategic objectives into compelling visual solutions that resonate with target audiences
Collaborate with creative directors, designers, copywriters, strategists, and clients throughout the production process
Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Figma, and other related tools to execute polished, high-impact content
Leverage generative AI tools (video, image, audio) as part of the creative and production workflow
Stay informed on emerging editing techniques, creative technologies, AI tools, and industry trends
Present creative rationale and editorial decisions clearly to internal teams and clients
Contribute to a culture of creative excellence, collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement
You Have:
3+ years of professional video editing experience within an agency or in-house creative team
A portfolio that demonstrates range, craft, and a strong point of view
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
A sharp, informed aesthetic sensibility — shaped by genuine engagement with culture, art, fashion, film, music, architecture, or whatever you're obsessed with
Strong motion design skills
Strong graphic design skills, including typography, composition and hierarchy
The ability to work across multiple projects, manage your own time, and deliver
Nice-To-Haves:
Figma prototyping skills
Experience design work
Hands-on experience with generative AI and text-based AI tools
